Creative Towel Bars & Hooks

Redecorating the boys’ bathroom is in the final stages! It has been a fun process and I wanted something different other than store bought, conventional hardware. Choosing creative towel bars and hooks helps bring personality to a room and allows for self expression. The boys’ bathroom is a beachy nautical theme and what’s more nautical than boat cleats and rope?!

In an ideal world my sons would fold their towel and hang it on the ropes. What’s nice is that the boat cleats can also be used as hooks for towels, which my boys could use, if I’m lucky. But who am I kidding? Most of the time the towels will probably just lay on the floor.

Let’s take a look at other creative towel bars and hooks

My friend Brittany, from Pretty Handy Girl, made this Branch Towel Bar for her bathroom. She is so resourceful and creative!

  1. That has got to be the neatest thing I've ever seen! Fantastic! I grew up in Virginia Beach (Pungo) and when I see decor ideas like this, it really makes me miss living near the coast. I don't feel like I can get away with something like that living in the midwest. :( Wonderful idea!
